Isobel Hilton is a Scottish-born journalist and founder of China Dialogue, a non-profit website that produces bilingual stories about the environment and climate change in China. She was made an OBE in 2009 for “services to promoting environmental awareness in China.”

Hilton lived in China for three years and studied at the Peking Languages Institute and at Fudan University in Shanghai. She is a member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs think tank and of the British Association of China Scholars. She has written extensively on the environment China Dialogue have hosted many talks on the climate, for example ‘Global surge’ in investment needed to adapt to climate change, warns UN (chinadialogue.net)

Baron O’Neill of Gatley is a British cross bench economist, formerly Chief economist for Goldman Sachs, where he worked from ’92 – 2013. He is a keynote speaker at events around the world for audiences interested in global finance, economics and emerging markets. He is known for coining BRICs, the acronym that stands for Brazil, Russia, India, and China—the four once rapidly developing countries that were thought to challenge the global economic power of the developed G7. He has been hailed as the ‘top foreign-exchange economist anywhere in the world in the past decade.
